Carson Peters’ fiery fiddle and vocal deliver this take on Bob Seger’s ‘Long Twin Silver Line‘ in a fine bluegrass style. It’s the second single taken from ‘Silver Bullet Bluegrass‘ a Bluegrass tribute to Bob Seger, a concept that the classic rock loving Carson Peters was keen to get involved in as he explains: “I loved the idea and jumped at the chance to be included with the great artists who were already on board.”
‘Silver Bullet Bluegrass ‘ will be out on July 12 on Lonesome Day Records via Sony/The Orchard. The 13-track album, which features Bo Bice, Carson Peters, Gary Nichols, Jeff Parker, Josh Shilling, Keith Garrett, Larry Cordle, Robert Hale, Shonna Tucker, Tim Shelton, Tim Stafford, Bill Taylor, and Ward Hayden, will be available on vinyl, compact disc and all streaming platforms.
Carson Peters is among a group of young traditional Bluegrass and Country musicians making a return to the Nashville music scene. Only 20 years old, Carson began his music career in 2011 when he made a guest appearance on NBC’s The Tonight Show With Jay Leno at the age of eight. In 2014, Ricky Skaggs made one of Peters’ biggest dreams a reality when he invited him to perform “Blue Moon of Kentucky” at the Grand Ole Opry.
