The song, taken from the album ‘It’s All Real Good’, was written as a tribute to a friend who tragically passed away. ‘Giveaway’ sensitively handles the words of Gammage’s dying friend, who parted – both physically and spiritually – from his possessions. Gammage’s sonorous voice is perfect for such a personal and emotionally resonant subject.
The video was filmed in historic Cape May, New Jersey, and features Gammage along with actors Christa Rose and Haley Cassidy. After a busy period of live-streaming performances, The New York-based singer-songwriter is currently writing songs and recording demos for his next album.
